Orla Barry

My artwork has a dreamlike, fairy tale quality and is inspired by animals, nature, mysticism, patterns and a search for perfect colour combinations. I seek to embrace the beauty of the natural world and express its atmosphere of magic and enchantment. My work includes paintings, art prints of my originals, greeting cards and brooches.

I am based in Bridge Street Studios in Dundalk and have an honours degree in Fine Art from DIT. I regularly exhibit my paintings and have completed residencies in Ireland, Iceland, Spain, Wales and Finland. One of my paintings is held in the Louth County Council collection.
